We are a competition BBQ team that was formed in January 2003. Prior to that time, we cooked with The Dixie Boys in MIM, KCBS and FBA contests. This all came about after cooking BBQ for 15 years for friends and neighbors. Well, you know how it started. “This is the best BBQ I’ve ever eaten” so said our friends, “you guys should be competing.” So we did and promptly got our butts kicked. Later we realized that when you are feeding folks free, it’s always the best they have ever eaten. Since that rough start, we have enjoyed some success.
